ZENITH | G.F.J. CALIBRE 135

The Zenith G.F.J. watch refers to the Calibre 135, a movement that Zenith introduced after the Second World War. Its competition version, the Calibre 135-O, won five Neuchâtel Observatory prizes between 1950 and 1954, and Zenith has won more than 2,300 chronometry prizes overall. The calibre was also used in a 2022 collaboration with Kari Voutilainen. The film presents the watch and the movement behind it. The video below comes from the official ZENITH channel.

ZENITH | CHRONOMASTER

The ZENITH Chronomaster is the collection built around the El Primero chronograph movement. El Primero was unveiled on 10 January 1969 as an automatic chronograph running at 36,000 vibrations per hour, which allows timing to one tenth of a second. The Chronomaster Sport, presented in January 2021, is part of this line and uses the El Primero 3600 according to watch media. The film in this group shows the Chronomaster Solo Sport. The video below comes from the official ZENITH channel.

ZENITH | The Heart of Watchmaking

This group tells the story of Zenith through the people who shaped it. Georges Favre-Jacot began making watches in Le Locle in 1865, which makes Zenith one of the oldest continuously operating watchmakers. Charles Vermot worked on the El Primero and, when the owners turned towards quartz, hid the production equipment in the attic of the Ponts-de-Martel facility, preserving the calibre.
